PROJECT SCHEDULE
NEXT STEPS
With funding secured, the Inner Loop North project will soon move from conceptual design to the detailed engineering design phase. During this phase, additional studies and investigations will occur to inform final project details, such as identifying what form pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure will take, how traffic flow may be modified, and what new green spaces may look like. There will continue to be extensive opportunities for public feedback during the detailed engineering design phase of the project. At the conclusion of the design phase, the project will go out to bid, a contractor(s) will be selected, and construction will begin. Construction is likely to be phased over multiple years to ensure limited impacts to residents and businesses that rely on the Inner Loop for access.
As construction advances and parcels become available, opportunities for new development will be targeted by the City, consistent with goals and concepts identified in the Inner Loop North Study.
